Liza Beigel, Mania Zak, and a non-Jewish friend stroll in the resort town of Krynica, Poland. Beigel came from a prominent Jewish family from Vilna. Her family owned the Hotel Bristol, the city’s largest hotel. Her husband Ferdinand was an officer in the Polish Army.
