Four young leather workers, from Gąbin, Poland. From left to right: an apprentice, Yekel Tiber; Henokh Goldschmidt (who had just left the yeshiva); and a young worker from Kutno. Goldschmidt, from a Hasidic background, later became a leader of the Jewish Socialist Bund.
