Vilna, Poland, Circa 1920s. Notice of Theft

Notice of the theft of two cows from the old-age home in Vilna, Poland. The milk from the cows was dispensed every day to the residents of the home on doctor’s orders. A kherem (rabbinical ban) will be issued to the thief.
