Children in a gymnastics class at the Kuperstein School for Girls. This school was part of the Central Education Committee Yiddish school network in Vilna. Portraits of contemporary Yiddish writer Shalom Asch, as well as I.L. Peretz and Sholem Aleichem, who were revered founders of modern Yiddish literature, hang on the walls.
