Advertisement for a Hebrew-Language School for Girls

Vilna, Poland, no date. Advertisement for the Tushiyah Hebrew Gymnasium

Polish-Yiddish advertisement for the Tushiyah Hebrew Gymnasium in Vilna. This school was part of the Tarbut network of Hebrew schools. The flier announces that the “first” Hebrew gymnasium for girls will open with its support. There, girls will learn the same curriculum as boys, but with certain additions such as “handicrafts.”
