Students and teachers of a kheyder (Jewish elementary school) in Sędziszów, Poland. They were filmed outdoors because the camera used was not capable of filming interiors without additional lighting. The film was commissioned by the town’s homeland association in America and produced by member Sidney Herbst during a visit to his hometown.
