“Zion”

Cover of a notebook of Hebrew poetry entitled, “Zion,” belonging to the Zionist youth group, Mishmeret Hahadash in Pinsk, Poland. Authors include Yehoshue Rabinov, A. Ludi (Leltshik), Arele Rozman, and Khane Pasternak. Three of them eventually settled in Kibbutz Gvat. A note reports that Ludi committed suicide. Inside the Star of David is written “Zion.” Inside the banners, “Freedom. Liberty.” is written in Hebrew.
