Health Poster: Wash Your Hands

Berlin, Germany, 1923. Poster Promoting Hygiene

Poster on the importance of keeping good hygiene. “Before you’ve washed your hands and nails with soap and water – Don’t touch food, don’t touch your eyes; Contagious diseases stick to dirt!” This is one of a series of Yiddish posters printed by the Jewish health organization OZE in Berlin for distribution to Jewish communities in Eastern Europe.
