Rebuilt home in Smorgon, a town destroyed in WWI

The family of Shimen Gas in front of their house on Svetlian Street in Smorgon, Poland. The house was reconstructed with the help of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. Almost the entire town was destroyed during World War I.
