Nazi Uniforms
Circa 1940s. Jacket and side caps
This Nazi uniform has a swastika armband and detailed buttons, each with an eagle, looking to the right, clutching a swastika. Around the cuff of the sleeve there is a small embroidered band that reads, “Stellv. d. führers Reichslager” this symbolizes the authority of the Deputy Führer, Rudolf Hess.
The two side caps each have the insignia of an eagle clutching a swastika. The eagle is a symbol of long life and strength.
