Franciszka (Franka) Rubinlicht (top, left) and her sister Natalia in the resort town of Otwock, Poland. Written on the back of the photo in Polish: “As you see, we spent a few weeks in Otwock with Hella Faller. Felka will write to you herself. Although she is ill, she is not so ill that she can’t send you a few words. Remain healthy…”

The Rubinlicht sisters were from a prominent Warsaw family. Their siblings included the actress Bella Bellarina, and the writer and journalist Jadwiga Rubinlicht.
