An unidentified Jewish boy in Antwerp, Belgium, ca. 1941, wearing a patch with a yellow star and the letter “J” for “Jew.” In the areas that the Nazis controlled, Jews were forced to wear special patches or armbands marking and isolating them from the rest of the population.
