Undated. Blue and white armband with an embroidered gold star.

Arm band worn by Jacob Gens. He was the commander of the Jewish police in the Vilna Ghetto. Gens rose to a position of power because he knew Lithuanian, had been an officer in the Lithuanian Army, and had influential Lithuanian friends.
